Hello & Welcome
to my 12th episode of the
KWH iPad Show!

Today’s feature is the first daylily bloom
from our front yard garden bouquet 🙂

Hey everyone! … Meet our first daylily of the year 🙂 Isn’t she lovely? Today’s photos are technically the season’s third bloom (all pink). But with a name like daylily… well… Who’s counting anyway, right?!?

We have three daylily plants in our front garden—pink, peach and purple. At least that’s how I remember it, since it’s been a while and all my daylily photos from last year are currently stuck (hopefully safely stuck) on my iMac-less hard drive :-/ I’d hoped to post photos of those, but didn’t make it in time before my iMac quit. Last year’s first daylily blooms were peach and are posted here. Wow… this year’s garden is way ahead of last year! Perhaps next year will be ripe for the purple plant to bloom first? Let’s get together here again next summer to find out! 🙂

Anyway, there’s something festive about the first flowers of the season! Now at the risk of boring you, please indulge me whilst I “make like a squirrel” and pack my knitting blog with a few flowering summer photos—in preparation for the flowerless months ahead 🙂

  3. Both knitting AND gardening are beyond my ability. I’m impressed that you do both. Your photos (when your computer does cooperate and allow you to post them) are lovely. Now, technical issues are something I’ve experienced! :0)

    • Ah ha… so modest you are, Anna 🙂 And thanks, but my gardening is just weed-pulling, so not too impressive 😉 Now 3 months since my iMac died … sigh … Technical issues have a way of bringing us all together, unfortunately :-/ ♥ ❤
