Hello & Welcome to my 44th episode of the KWH iPad Show! Today’s “Wordless Wednesday” feature is a single, simple, hearty image found via facebook

This, while my blogful brain is all but bursting with blog-buster ideas! Yet somehow, none can seem to find their way out and onto the page!
😉 :-/ 🙂 ❤

Mirror, mirror on the wall…
It does not matter if I’m short or tall…
If I have skinny legs or my hips are wide…
It only matters who I am inside…
Blue eyes, brown eyes, black or green…
What makes me most beautiful cannot be seen…
When you look at me, don’t judge me by my parts…
The most beautiful thing about me is my heart.

Hello & Welcome to my 36th episode of the KWH iPad Show! Today is a friendly day of cyber-fibre fun, in honour of our friend Ursula’s birthday ❤

Ursula is our neighbour. It’s always fun when we get together… But even when we can’t, good ol’ facebook bridges the smiles across the miles 🙂

In honour of this special day, I thought it’d be fun to greet her with a blog post to hightlight some of the crack-me-up fun photos she posts on my fb page ’cause they make her think of… me!

LoLoLoL ❤ Ursula
Happy birthday, to you!

Warning:  some of these fibrous images
really ought to come with a warning and
may be best viewed with eyes closed 😉

And please… don’t get any ideas
about knitting any of this stuff…
Or just share photos, if you do!!!

Did you know approx 360,000 people world-wide are born every day? That’s a BIG party! So if today’s your b-day, do consider this my “happy birthday” hugs/wishes post to you, too ❤

A Prayer for My Friend

“Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God,
serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received…
so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ.”

KWH on fb ❤ knitting reality à la Franklin Habit

Won’t be long now… 🙂

Let the melting begin!

Well it appears that our weather has finally/actually/perhaps/maybe turned the corner toward spring… woohoo!!! Even so, I’m still in a state of digging out from under that snow-packed inbox of mine. Today, a month and a half after it was posted at the Lion Brand Notebook blog, I have finally gotten around to reading this article by Franklin Habit (dated February 12th, 2014. You can find the link posted on my Knitting With Heart Facebook page 🙂

So here ya go, Franklin Habit’s ready response to the next time someone asks,
“How long would it take you to knit me a _________?”
Enjoy 😉

happy melting! ❤ Jackie

knitted knots & loose ends ❤

For a while now, I’ve been obsessively focused upon prepping to publicize my next knitting pattern. For even longer, I’ve been dreaming of starting an Etsy shop. Now (thanks to dear friends who cared enough to give me the ol’ kick-in-the-pattern-publishing-pants I needed/deserved), my very own Bramble❤tini design will soon mark the start of what I hope will be a long line of unique knitting patterns for sale at my upcoming Etsy shop!

Thanks for clicking this image to see my gravatar profile—which includes links to Ravelry, Craftsy, Facebook, Pinterest… and wherever else I’ll be posting new pattern info ❤

It’s been a lot of work to get to this point. Time’s been short, Inboxes have grown long, but now the job of getting started is finally nearly done! Then again, are labours of love ever really quite done? Maybe not, but that’s okay… because they’re fun!

Yes, it’s true!
(finally) joined the facebook party… woohoo!!!

We’ll have a fun time interacting together…
over @ my “Knitting With Heart” facebook page!
So come on over 🙂   I hope you will “LIKE” it too  ❤

The page is brand spanking new, so there’s not a lot posted yet. My purpose for the page is two-fold. First, knitting fun! Second, knitting fun without boring my non-knitting family members to tears! My new “Knitting With Heart” page will feature posts to my blog, as well as various links that I find interesting along the way. Links to my original knitting patterns (as they become available) will also be featured on this page.

And so, here we go…
dipping another toe into the vast sea of social media!
Looking forward to some yarn good fun!

fb soon! ❤ Jackie
