. . . luv 'n stitches for our tired old world

Flake News! 😳😝😧🤔☃🇨🇦📢

Hey there… How’s it snowin’, eh? 🇨🇦 It’s been snoOow long since I’ve been gone…
Nearly half a year of impromptu silence from the blog due to real life curveballs.
Yup, some heavy stuff snuffed my focus until I finally dropped the blogful ball ☹️
But through it all, I’ve learned to lean more deeply upon the LORD Jesus Christ ✝
Whatever happens… once you choose to follow Jesus, He will be your ALL and
His strength will comfort, sustain, carry and pull you through all life’s valleys ❤

By now, the Canadian geese have been squawking to and fro for weeks.
And after this week’s snow, I’m sure they’ll instinctively fly south soon
.
Time truly flies, whether or not anyone’s having fun! But how can it be
mid-September with our first snow-scape already over and done?!? 😮
Last time we saw September snow was 2014, making our wild weather
all the more normal—here at the 53rd N parallel on the Alberta prairies.

SnoOowww… hope your weather’s treating you well 😎
Fun to catch these snowful pics while they lasted, but sure
hope our summer’s still got some high temps in the tank!
Well at least it roused me from blogful hibernation, right? 😉
❤

Snow.. I’m colder even just thinking of the stuff! Even though snow is pretty, give me sunshine & warmth any day 🙂

    • Thanks Caz ❤ Stuff snowballs 'til you take a break. But then it gets tough to jump back into the blog :-/ Oh, and it snowed (and melted) AGAIN this morning… sighhh!!! Summer is always too short. We're sure hoping for decent fall yardwork weather, at least! Hope all's well with you there 🙂 💜 Jackie@KWH

  4. Snow already and the mid Sept too… that is a bit discouraging. I wouldn’t blame those Canadian geese 🙂

    • Thanks Linda ❤ Yup, snowed (and melted) again today :-/ But local old timers have seen it snow every month of the year! It's crazy/wild for sure, yet still normal 😛 Can't imagine these past few years without Jesus and hope His harpazo comes soon! 🙂 💕🙏🎶✝💜 Jackie@KWH

  9. It’s always good to hear from you, Jackie. ❤ I hope your trials are now behind you. The leaves are just beginning to turn here. Autumn is my favorite season. Some of your Canada geese have already come to visit us! 🙂

    • Thanks Anna ❤ One hurdle finally fell about a week ago—major relief!!! Started out as a no-brainer until our Adversary the Devil made it a long, drawn-out process. I know it was him due to the constant strewing of stupidest-yet-strategically- timed "coincidences" across our path :-/ Super-stressful, yet unexplainably peaceful—as we trusted The LORD who work it out 💕😇🙏🎶✝
Leaves here are mostly hanging on, plus a few straggler geese that have not yet abandoned us 😉 Fall in your region is much lovelier and less erratic. Hope all's well with you there and wish you plenty of pleasant fall weather! 🙂 💜 Jackie@KWH

GUARANTEED, you were missed. I am not intentionally out of blogging, but the new changes to security, to how readers read, how to subscribe and unsubscribe are like an impossible mountain these days. I have begun to feel persecuted by so many changes.

Welcome back! I hope you are well. Wow! A September snow! Yikes, I’d better stop complaining about the heat. It was a hot and humid summer in New England. We’re doing fine now and hopefully will not see snow for a while yet! Best wishes to our northern bloggers.

  13. Praised be the Lord! …Of course the Lord is Mighty to Save, and He IS doing it all along. …I only hope You do not downplay our (human beings) ‘playing’ with Nature, not paying attention to Ecology, etc.

When the Lord said ‘Rule over the earth,’ it was a Responsibility that He gave. He gave us Freedom, not license to do what we ‘like.’

I do suppose we Both mean the Same things.

Hearty Regards to You in Name of the Good Lord. 🙂

    • Hi SwamiY 🙂 Oh yes… back in Genesis, God commanded mankind to be good stewards over all the earth. Being environmentally responsible today is still very good! The part I don’t agree with is environmentalism—a religion in/of itself—due to its destructive nature toward both the earth and mankind. This ideological agenda has/continues to ruin lives, while those select few behind the control curtain of environmentalism have/continue to become overwhelmingly rich in money/power. Here in Canada, our current gov’t puppets are a prime example of environmentalism’s destructive agenda! Yet even so, our Lord Jesus Christ is sovereign over all the universe and the day is fast approaching when He will judge all sinister agendas… Maranatha! 💕🙏🎶✝😊💜 Jackie@KWH

      • Thank You for Your response, my Dear Jackie! I suppose I should thank the Good Lord I don’t even know what ‘environmentalism’ is. Not much of a loss in that, would we not say?

Maranatha, and Amen! Alleluia, my Dear. 🙂

          • Hello, Jackie! …Went back to Your site and had another look see. First of all, I like the Rainbow hued collection of Hearts. Had a look of Your presentation of the road in Nepal with two, not one, waterfalls. The way they are gushing, the look scary indeed, and We DO take too many things for granted. Thanks for the Reminders. Love and Regards. 🙂

            • Hi SwamiY 🙂 Thanks for popping by! Rainbows do have a unique and colourfully calming effect, don’t they? … ‘though perhaps not so much whilst traveling along that hwy 😱 Would you be brave enough to travel that waterfall hwy? I’d be holding my breath in prayer all the way! 😉 🙂 💜 Jackie@KWH
