“May grace and peace [that special sense of spiritual well-being] be yours in increasing abundance [as you walk closely with God].

Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant and boundless mercy has caused us to be born again [that is, to be reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] to an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [born anew] into an inheritance which is imperishable [beyond the reach of change] and undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for you.”
1 Peter 1:2-4 Amplified Bible (AMP)

  6. Thank you for beautiful post. Hope indeed you had a blessed Easter remembrance. No hot cross buns for us this year. We had a perfect day so met with family at a beach. We had buttered cross buns but the celebration of our faith is real in the hearts and lives of both David and myself. (Bringing the whole family to this sacred appreciation is a softly, softly loving journey. )

    • So good to hear of your family’s Easter celebration at the beach, Faye 😀 All praise to our risen Saviour who lives within our (and most of our family’s) hearts! The snow melted early this year. So we enjoyed t-shirt weather in the sunshine 🙂 ♥ ❤

      • The True Light!

I know about that comment/spam thing. All of a sudden about 3 months ago, almost all of my direct comments to others were disappearing or winding up in the spam folders. WordPress can’t help me fix it, so I have to work around it. Sorry for any inconvenience…

        • Oh boy… no worries, but good reminder! I’ve noticed other’s comments falling through the spam cracks too. Some have left me wondering, but then I go back and find they’re gone… Really need to make a daily habit of checking that spam folder! :-/ ♥ ❤

What gets me is that my comments from this blog have never gone to spam before. Now about 99% of direct comments I make to others do. I can only get through to others on a “reply thread” which is discouraging. People have to make comments to me first and then I can answer them…

Thanks for letting me ramble on!

            • Yikes Steve! That’s a high volume of authentic comments suddenly getting sent to spam folders… Quite concerning and must be tough for you to keep from feeling frustrated :-/ Your “ramblings” have reminded me to check my spam folder more frequently, though. So that’s something… I’m really glad to have caught your comment, before it disappeared! Hopefully soon, your comments will be in the clear!!! 🙂 ♥ ❤

Thank you for the concern and the well wishes, but I find no one at the WordPress organization able to try to help with me and my little problem!

It is frustrating, but I’m learning to live with it after several attempts to get it fixed…

Yes, you would think they could help but I can’t find a way to hook up directly to a live person from WP, nor can I find a direct email to them to describe my problem…

Thank you for the well wishes. I hold little hope that WP will straighten the mess up…I only stay here because I understand how their blogs work, (but not how to fix all problems), and I’m established with a nice set of readers…

You are very kind thank you! Yes, I’ve shut down and restarted blogs before and you’re right, it isn’t any fun!

And speaking of finding new sites, I think yours is a very unique set up. I’ve never seen one quite like it before. Guess that’s part of making a blog successful…being unique!

I’m probably going to keep my blog in place. If I switch it it will only be because more problems occur…

Well the site is a different way of blending your knitting with a spiritual message or theme. The scriptures speak of something in the same way in (Ecclesiastes 4:12)…”a cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.”

At least that’s one idea I take away from your blog…

What a great way to put things! We who blog are called to a very specific kind of ministry…it’s not for everyone.

If our hearts are open to His will, we use the talents we have in the places God wants us to apply them. I find the best use of my talents are also to blog about His word and will…

It’s mind-boggling to think of it that way, isn’t it! That’s why I do this, it is my ministry effort for the Lord each day…(even if my comments section doesn’t work as it should…Lol!)

You know, you are the second person today to tell me that. It is so strange…I’m no technical “guru” so solving these things is a real mystery to me…

As I have things now, I post new material every Mon-Fri. On occasion, I will post on a Sat/Sun. No matter where the blog takes you, I have a list of most popular posts, and most recent posts in the sidebar of my page. Always look there for more current items…

Thank you for the information and the kind well wishes!

  12. Delightful Easter post, you have “knitted” everything with Love and devotion to tradition! We celebrate the Orthodox Easter late this year and it coincides with the May Day. You know, it has to do with the Moon and the calendars, as it is a movable Feast. However, our God is the same no matter what the man-made adjustments dictate. Have a brilliant spring day 🙂
