#36 š happy birthday to all my fun-fibre-friends!
Hello & Welcome to my 36th episode of the KWH iPad Show! Today is a friendly day of cyber-fibre fun, in honour of our friend Ursula’s birthday ā¤
Ursula is our neighbour. It’s always fun when we get together… But even when we can’t, good ol’ facebook bridges the smiles across the miles š
In honour of this special day, I thought it’d be fun to greet her with a blog post to hightlight some of theĀ crack-me-up fun photos she posts on my fb pageĀ ’cause they make her think of… me!Ā
LoLoLoL ā¤ Ursula
Happy birthday, to you!Ā
Warning:Ā some of these fibrous images
really ought to come with a warning and
mayĀ be best viewed with eyes closed š
And please… don’t get any ideas
about knitting any of this stuff…
Or justĀ share photos, if you do!!!
ā
Did you know approx 360,000 people world-wide are born every day?Ā That’s a BIGĀ party! So if today’s your b-day, do considerĀ this my “happy birthday” hugs/wishes post to you, too ā¤
“Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God,
serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received…
so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ.”
ā Ā 1 Peter 4:10, 11b Ā ā

Can you hear me giggling over here in Ohio? š : D Those people with knitted hoods shaped into openings for straws cracked me up! Then, unfortunately, the men got me staring. This single woman didn’t mind the knitted or crocheted underwear on the one man. OMG, did I say that aloud? Write it on your blog? Tsk, tsk.
The Bible verse about sharing talents given to us is a special one. I feel everyone has art, music, sewing, crafts, knitting and crocheting Another use of gifts may be in “caretaking” by reaching out to wildlife, pets, plants or elderly neighbors. Finding out what your gift is and sharing is a true blessing or “calling,” Jackie.ā”

Hey Robin š LoL … I’m so glad this post brought you a smile! And yes, I whole heartedly agree that God created each one of us with gifts of creativity… Our hands can make stuff. Our words can make a difference in another’s life. And as blessed as we are in realizing our own gifts, it’s sharing those gifts will make blessings overflow š ā„ ā¤

Regarding serving each other with our gifts, this reminds me of Tabitha/Dorcas who was well loved for her generosity in knitting/making tunics and other garments for those in need (widows).
Acts 9:36-43
We all serve Him and each other with our talents š
Stay blessed!

Ah yes, of course! Thanks for the inspiration š I’ll need to think about how to include that in a blog post… OR hmmm … I’m also interested in knitting-related WP posts for reblogging. Have you written any Biblical themed blog posts with regard to knitting? Or perhaps you’d like to? Ooooh… that’d be amazing! Please send me your link(s) š ā„ ā¤
