#35 šŸ’œ 9 months and counting…

the KWH iPad Show logoA New Year's Prayer

Romans 15:13
Hello & WelcomeĀ to my 35thĀ episode of theĀ KWH iPad Show! I hope your year so far isĀ going well šŸ™‚ Our 2016 got off to a rough start šŸ˜¦ But today is a new day… and the “show” must go on!

So can you believe it’s been 9 months since my iMac died and left the blogging to just you, me & my iPad? Yup! … 9 solid months, since I’ve stroked the blogful keys of a real computer that uses more than an app for this or that! I’d never have believed it possible to last this long without going completely bonkers. Yet, here we all are… 9 months ago, we were a crowd of 330 readers, including WordPress + 30 or so “likes” from facebook… Then wOw, look at the 600+ crowd we are now!

Thanks everyone ā¤ for keeping me company,
through to the new year… and counting!

      • Oil price fell below USD30. The world economy will not be robust. Thankfully my little red dot is still “fine” but as employees we must work harder

  7. I’m really replying to a comment you left on my blog Jackie. I don’t like to talk about my family there so I’m doing it here instead. I hope you don’t mind. You can always delete this comment if you don’t want it to appear on your blog.
You told me about your hubby’s situation. You two have been having a tough time, haven’t you? My hubby was made redundant a few years ago so we know some of what you’re going through. The welfare system here is quite good but we’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices. It looks like we’re going to be stuck like this until our daughter finishes school (just a few more years now). The thing is though, as you said, God is in control. It’s hard to trust sometimes when things are at their worst but it’s all happening for a reason. I am very confident that the trials are bringing us closer together and getting our souls ready for heaven. Riches won’t get us there! If I could go back I wouldn’t change a thing. I hope this brings you comfort and hope.

    • Dear Sarah… thank you for your heartfelt encouragement ā¤ One thing's for sure, we all have struggles in life… And so often, one struggle barely eases up in time for the next struggle to begin :-/ This time, we thank God the lay-off waited until after my husband could at least begin HPP treatment. I'm saddened to hear of your difficulties. Yet, it is good to hear that your family has adjusted/grown together through those struggles šŸ™‚ My prayer for hubby & I is to draw nearer to each other as we draw nearer to God… and vice versa… and for all my blogful friends to know Jesus. Growing nearer to Jesus is the only worthwhile thing about life's struggles šŸ™‚ ā™„ ā¤

      • Yes, what a blessing for you to be able start your husband’s treatment. I hope that he is able to take advantage of his time out of work to recuperate and heal. The lay-off may prove to be a blessing in disguise if it allows you both to grow closer to each other and to Jesus, and to spend more time talking about your future and so on. That’s what we found anyway.
May God bless you both in your struggles. ā¤

        • Yes indeed, Sarah ā¤ We need to be on the lookout for blessings in disguise! For starters, I'm sure his HPP-weary bones will benefit from the extra sleep. As well, it's a good thing we enjoy each other's company so much šŸ˜‰ God bless you and your family, Sarah šŸ™‚ ā™„ ā¤

  9. I liked this post a lot, including humor like the Maxine post. I used to have monthly Maxine jokes or comics. I did not have pictures my first 2 years so I would just use her words. Smiles, Robin
