Very moving. We all too often take for granted what others gave their lives for.

So true, and thanks Anna 🙂 My google search for a suitable Remembrance Day photo rendered all these and more… It was no simple task to piece them all together on an iPad… grrr!!! But good things happen when God directs my keypad! 😀 ♥ ❤

Lovely tribute. Would you happen to know why the poppy flower was used to symbolically remember this day? Always wondered but never knew why ☺

Hi G-Hug 🙂
Remembrance Day poppy symbolism was inspired by the WWI poem “In Flanders Fields”, which refers to poppies as the first flowers to grow in the churned-up earth of soldiers’ graves in the Flanders region of Belgium. 🙂 ♥ ❤

I was wishing we never had to have war to remember or things would stop happening in the world on Wednesday. This wss Remembrance Day or Veteran’s Day.
Then, the Paris tragedy occurred. How sad, horrible and unforgivable!
Only good part is how it brought us all together in our prayers and hopes for Peace. ♡

Sadly all too true, Robin 😦 Wars bring truly tragic loss. But for this shamelessly evil suicide bombing attack on innocent lives in Paris to interrupt humanity’s sombre remembrance of sacrificial bravery in the fight against evil is absurdly senseless and insanely pointless!!!
May we continue to come together in prayerful hope for future peace… and draw nearer to the one true God, who is Christ Jesus—the Prince of Peace! 🙂 ♥ ❤
