top fashion designers use knitting, crochet and embroidery for Spring/Summer 2016
Dressing up for Halloween this weekend?
. . . but THEN what’ll you wear?!?Check out these fashion photos for spring/summer 2016!
Lots of crafty flair for stylish needlework creativity here…
featuring knitting & crochet & embroidery & (of course) sewing! 🙂 ♥ Jackie
I’m always on the look out for the latest fashion with a touch of handcrafted goodness. Fashion week in London, New York and Paris (about 3-5 weeks ago) did not disappoint me! There were MANY outfits with knitted detail, crocheted touches and free style embroidery to drool over. Here are a few of my favourite outfits (with some notes on what caught my eye) by some pretty famous designers for Spring/Summer 2016.
Have a fantastic weekend!

I’m trying to get my hands on some really good knit dresses. I have a lovely green knit coat in my closet. I completely forgot to bring it out this summer. Burberry has been doing knit dresses for the past three seasons. Full knit, with and without lining. I’m sure you’ve seen those, too.

Summer’s always too short… sigh Is the green coat catalogued anywhere on your blog? Yes, I’ve seen some nice knit dresses by Burberry. One of my daydreams is to pull a knit like that off my needles and onto myself, one day! 🙂 ♥ ❤

Thanks for this. I haven’t photographed it for my blog but I can send you a photo of it one of these days. I wear it with a pleated mini dress in green or a champagne v neck dress. I know you can knit one. Prada did aprons a few seasons ago. I think a crochet apron would work with one of your favourite floral dresses and a jacket. It’s a happy compromise and the final look would be very Dolce. xo

Hmmm… haven’t noticed aprons, but do like the Doulce doilies effect. Your outfit sounds cute 🙂 I’d love to see it! My email accounts are a pretty scary sight, these days—after past 6 months stuffed inside my iPad So thanks for the reminder to get my email-organizing-butt into gear 😉 … lol, sigh… and I’ll watch for whatever you might send! 🙂 ♥ ❤

No problems. I hate email, too, with a passion. I might just upload it to my Flickr account and @ you to with the link. Much faster. (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))*\(^o^)/*

I really like fashion shows. I enjoy looking at the artistic designs of clothes. I like how you emphasized the stitching and hand knot or crocheted details. Smiles, Robin
