the KWH iPad Show #25 đ I Love Yarn Day!
.
Hello & Welcome
to my 25th episode of the
KWH iPad Show!
Today’s feature is a bit of backyard knitting
amidst the golden leaves of autumn đ
.
I love yarn!
… and I love autumn!
… and yarn!
… and autumn’s golden leaves
… before they all fall!
… and I love knitting with yarn!
And of course, I love today…Â
because today is “I Love Yarn Day”
… yay!
These photos are from Thanksgiving weekend.
And today is another sun-shining 19ÂșC/66ÂșF day!
So pictured there in that photo is where I’ll be!
… sitting ‘n knitting đ
… with the man I love â€
… and yarn I love đ
Then election day is Monday the 19th.
Canadians will head to the polls…
where I hope our greater majority will join
Wayne “the great one” Gretzky
in casting votes for Stephen Harper!

Autumn is my favorite season. I love that crisp tang in the air, and the leaves turning. đ

Hi can I ask you what it means: s2pp2 please?
I have printed out the heart pattern but don’t understand the English short forms as I am used to German patterns. K is knit and p is pearl right?
Please help me I’d like to try the heart please!

Oh yes! Thanks for your question, Ute đ
My apologies for the confusion.
s2pp2 is the center/vertical double purl decrease described by June Hemmons Hiatt in her Principles of Knitting book. When posting instruction to the blog, however, I was unable to find any video for June’s method. But… I did find a similar (possibly better) variation by Laura Nelken. Laura’s method is called the pcdd and I’ve posted her video @ https://knittingwithheart.wordpress.com/2015/09/12/the-kwh-ipad-show-22-đ-stitch-tech-for-my-sweetieâ„knitâ„heart/
Sorry again, Ute! … I hope this helps…
Please feel free to ask me any further questions! đ â„ â€

Thanks for visiting my blog! My mom used to be an amazing knitter; she taught me but I have ZERO talent, but my daughterinlaw is very good, so we’ve all been gifted wonderful things!

I know my neighbors think I’m crazy but I don’t care. When he can, if he’s ever off the boat in a place with seashells, he’ll send me tons of them, so he enables me haha!

Yes, prayerfully so! We watch the “Deadliest Catch” series, which shows how dangerous high-seas work really is! Hugs to you đ â„ â€
