First, you’ll need to purchase my Bramble♥tini Heart knitting pattern — $1.50 PDF — and knit the tiny 2-sided heart from feltable wool. Then, after barely any weaving in of loose ends, simply felt the yarn tails into a “magical” loop. I am so impressed and inspired with your forward progress on all these things and another pattern for sale. With my new tablet that won’t freeze up on facebook if I can get it on it and painting done maybe, I can more learn and participate in this cyber virtual world, techy world, whatever it is?! lol
I did see the weather map where an Arctic freeze is on the way and your way in full force it seems. Maybe understanding your weather a little bit better. Be warm!!!!! Love your kind neighbor who clears driveways.

It’s always good to see you here and/or on fb 🙂 Thank you for your words of encouragement ❤ My blogful plans had hoped for much more by now, so I’m not too impressed with me (though do admit the blog has made progress).
Oh baby, it’s been cold here!!! Everyone around here has remote starters for their vehicles and we finally installed one last week too! We also went to a Christmas party Friday night and passed several overturned vehicles along the hwy… not good 😦 Yes, Randy is the most wonderful neighbour!!! It does seem that the colder it is the less snow we get, though… So that’s the silver lining, I suppose 😉 Thankful too for news that all homeless people in the area had a place to stay ❤

I know we have homeless here that are on our minds, but I hadn’t thought about the homeless in the colder climates. It is good to know that they have places to stay and shelter them. I think that is one of the saddest things that people have to live out on the streets or under bridges in this weather.
Don’t worry about the progress of your blog as mine still hasn’t begun. lol And my etsy site is still just a dream. After this kitchen redo I hope to be able to organize things a bit better with my new tablet when I get the correct router. All things in God’s plan and timing.

Yes, there is so much to learn. I much prefer typing on a real keyboard as so much faster than on tablet. But the tablet will be a good back up for this computer if I do etsy soon although like you, not enough time in the day for all I want to do, have to learn, and choosing which is a priority sometimes is so difficult. lol
I just discovered in this chevron, now maybe only sort of, that it is easier to do yo,knit, yo instead of yo knit yo in the same stitch, and the count of stitches remains the same although the holes in the pattern seem larger. It seems to put less stress on my hands and go faster, so the pattern is about the same and I don’t mind the holes as a little lace effect? If a mistake I think it will be easier to fix as it will be such a large piece and don’t want to get a lot done and have to frog it off. Yikes!!! As it will be a large item, a little speed is a VERY GOOD THING. lol
Now figuring that out this morning, in creative peace once again, I can move on to some Christmas cleaning and putting a tree up. today. The rain has let up so if that continues maybe I will put some of those outside lights up. Not sure. Then there is the kitchen in progress. lol Never a dull moment here. What happened to those lazy weekends where I almost read them away in a book. Oh well. lol

Ah yes, I think I remember those lazy weekends too! Haven’t had many since beginning this blog, though 😉 Hmmm… yeah, I can’t see it making much (if any) difference to your yo pattern. And a little speed with stress relief for our nimble knitting fingers is always a good thing! We don’t have a tree, but always decorate and hang indoor lights 🙂 With our fierce winter weather, indoor lights is much simpler/safer and way more convenient 🙂 Plus, our front door has windows, so the lights shine through to the street ❤

Those little hearts are so adorable. Do you use extra tiny knitting needles to make them, like the one in the picture to the right (the necklace) or do you make them with average needles? With your talent I suppose you never used those circular looms to crochet or knit with. I have been using one to make hats but I am frustrated because where the stitches connect around the circle, there is something that isn’t exactly a seem but the stitches for whatever reason are really loose there and don’t look as neat and tidy as the rest.

I’ve actually always wanted to try the looms, but have always felt too busy with all my wanna-make projects for regular knitting needles.
