Sweetie♥KNIT♥Heart . . . a tiny free knitting pattern
When springtime is all a flutter and love is in the air,
flowers, hearts ‘n rainbows seem to pop up everywhere.
And to celebrate this season of beginnings what may,
my hope is to help you truly knit-your-heart-out today!
So then, here is my heart…
freely shared now with you.
My own “Sweetie-Knit-Heart”
original knitting pattern,
with love from me to you ♥
You might knit these hearts to proclaim like or love…
perhaps even wear as appliqué on your sleeve or glove.
Frankly, these tiny hearts are quite fine on their own,
yet thrive with imagination—helping one feel less alone.
Little more than a yarn scrap
is required for this pleasure
of transformation from odd bits,
into lovely coloured treasure.
Yes, the “Sweetie Knit Heart” will make people smile,
so knit a colourful bunch for a floral bouquet or other style.
Now since tiny knit hearts can help show that you care,
go knit ‘n scatter “Sweetie Knit Heart” seeds everywhere!
♥ Jackie ♥

Hi Leslie Linkie, thanks for your question 🙂
Inserting the right-hand needle tip into the back loops of 2 stitches together will slant the decrease left.
Inserting the right-hand needle tip into the front loops of 2 stitches together (from left-to-right) will slant the decrease right.
Hope this helps. And thank you for “liking” my facebook page 🙂 ❤ ❤

No, I haven’t seen these, but I do knit and crochet. I bought a fun book on crochet motifs by Edie Eckman to diddle around with. Recently, I went through Chemo, leaving my hands numb. Needlework has proven to be a godsend in re-establishing the use of my hands. 🙂 So thank you for sharing. I’ll keep these in mind for Christmas tags/tree ornaments.

awe shucks, Maria… I enjoyed finding your blog 🙂 It’s good to know you’ll be sticking with poetry! But before you give up on knitting… Did you know that a square “scarf” is like knitting a dishcloth/cushion cover/afghan section or more? Plus by widening that scarf, you can knit-terally call it a wrap aka stole 😉 Yup… just wanted you to know that your talents actually run deeper—as deep as your imagination wants to dig! 🙂 💜 Jackie@KWH
